Completed installations
Three real-world installations. One evolving system.
These projects are presented as chapters in the development of Never Again! Flood Defense. Each installation helped improve the next generation of the barrier system.

The goal is not to show three polished jobs in isolation. It is to show how a homeowner’s flood problem became a tested, refined, and increasingly reliable protection system.

Stage 1 • Initial prototype
Cape Coral: Tower Dr
The first completed installation on the founder’s own property. It proved the basic concept could work during a real storm and revealed where sealing and deployment needed to improve.
Real-world trial during Hurricane Helene
The early system validated the idea, but it also showed that edge sealing and installation speed matter as much as panel strength.

Stage 2 • Design refinement
St. James City: Rita Ln
This installation focused on scaling the system, refining the expandable edge, and testing a larger opening with a more deliberate barrier layout.
A broader, more demanding opening that pushed the design further
Very large single-piece barriers become harder to handle, making modular design and cleaner structural support more important.

Stage 3 • Current generation
St. James City: Jade Ave
The latest installation reflects the lessons learned from the first two: cleaner aluminum structure, more efficient deployment, and a more refined sealing system.
A cleaner, more modular barrier built for repeatable performance
The current generation is faster to install, easier to store, and better suited to the varied openings seen in real homes.
